BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) are branched-chain amino acids that, as the name suggests, are characterized by a branched side chain. BCAAs contain amino acids such as L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine. These are exogenous compounds that must be supplied to the body from outside, along with the daily menu or in the form of dietary supplements, because the body is not able to synthesize them on its own. BCAAs constitute approximately ⅓ of the proteins that build muscle tissue and the site of their breakdown, unlike other amino acids, is mainly skeletal muscles, which makes branched-chain amino acids eagerly used by physically active people.
L-glutamine, on the other hand, is a protein amino acid that can be formed naturally in the body, but when the human body shows an increased demand for the valuable compound, e.g. during intense physical activity, the ingredient should also be supplied to the body from the outside, along with the daily menu or in the form of dietary supplements. Mix a 10 g portion (2.5 scoops) in 100-150 ml of water or juice. On training days, drink two servings a day, one immediately after waking up, the second serving after training. On non-training days, drink one serving after waking up.
