Cinnamon rolls are a well-known pastry made from dough prepared with yeast, wheat flour, milk, water, butter, eggs, salt and sugar. These rolls can be served in different versions, but they always have the aroma of cinnamon.

How many calories does a cinnamon bun with icing have, and how many with cheese filling? 100 g of a classic cinnamon bun is about 350-420 kcal.

  • Cinnamon bun with cheese filling - up to 400-550 kcal.

Cinnamon rolls – is this delicious product healthy?

Due to its high sugar content, traditional cinnamon rolls are not considered a healthy product. However, if you don't want to give up eating your favourite treat, you can make your own healthy version using wholemeal flour and erythritol, for example.

Also, try not to use icing, which is quite high in calories. Instead, you can pour maple syrup over the cinnamon roll. One such roll can have only 100 kcal, making it a low-calorie and low-fat baked good.
