Krill oil is a source of beneficial fatty acids for human health, in particular omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

In addition, in krill oil we find many vitamins, i.a. vitamin A or E, minerals such as calcium, magnesium or selenium, as well as flavonoids and sterols.

Krill oil, due to the richness of valuable ingredients, can have a positive effect on health and physical condition.

Omega-3 acids are distinguished by their scientifically proven; anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effects. So there is a good chance that krill oil supports the body in the fight against cardiovascular disease.

Research suggests that krill oil has a better effect on lowering the lipid profile in relation to oils obtained from fish, using the same or lower doses of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Thanks to EPA and DHA acids and antioxidants, krill oil also supports memory and concentration. It can therefore be assumed that the substance has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the nervous system.

In addition, omega-3 fatty acids are a precursor to the synthesis of serotonin, called the hormone of happiness. As a result, supplementation with these acids increases their concentration in the body, positively influencing the mental state and well-being.

What's more, the presence of astaxanthin helps to remove free radicals from the body, while protecting cells from oxidative stress and counteracting aging processes. The antioxidant also has a positive effect on eyesight and skin, enhancing natural protection against harmful UV radiation. Krill oil should be used regularly to see any health benefits. It is recommended to take the capsule with a meal. Usually, the recommended amount of the supplement is 1 or 2 tablets a day. Krill oil is characterized by good digestibility, therefore the nutrients contained in the product are quickly absorbed and easily used by the human body.

Contraindications to the use of the supplement
