OstroVit preparation contains both alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which can be found mainly in linseed oil, as well as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), i.e. compounds whose sources are mainly oily sea fish and fish oils.

Omega-6 fatty acids are compounds belonging to the group of essential fatty acids that are part of cell membranes. OstroVit supplement contains linoleic acid (LA), derived from sunflower seed oil and flax seed oil, which can also be found in other vegetable oils, e.g. grape seed oil.
